Artist Biography

Ronnie Leckie was born in central Scotland and now lives on the Isle of Mull. From an early age he has been involved in the visual arts and music.

In 1975 he set up 'Cara Print', a designer/card company. The images produced were distributed worldwide.

In 1983 he produced 30 paintings for his first set of prints which were sold in various galleries throughout Britain.

In 1987 he designed a set of writing paper for the German market which is still being sold to this day throughout Europe.

This was also the year that Ronnie produced his first calendar for the German World Wildlife Fund (W.W.F.). There are now over 30 calendars for the W.W.F.. In addition to this, he has sold over 10 million prints.

Ronnie now concentrates on limited edition prints which he ehibits not only in his own gallery in Tobermory but throughout many galleries in Scotland.
