Co-Founder of the Glasgow Group in 1958
Principal Teacher of Art Dumbarton Academy 1973-1990

Exhibited Norway, France, Spain, Poland, Russia and America.
Spends winter in Andalusia and has a particular interest in the Pueblos Blancos of the Ronda area
Well known for his watercolours of the skies and islands of the Hebrides
