BIO
A landscape artist concentrating on the wilder parts of Britain . Inspiration comes from having lived amongst the hills and moors of the North Pennines and this, and our wonderful coastline, have shaped his work.
Paintings, nearly always developed from sketches, are in acrylic, watercolour, ink and pastel usually in combinations of some or all of them. Bob is represented by galleries in the North of England and Wales as well as his home county of Lincolnshire .
In 2012 he was featured in the Sunday Times Watercolour exhibition in the Mall Gallery, London . He is a past prize-winner in the Spirit of Llyn art competition in North Wales and has recently been featured in articles in Artists & Illustrators and The Artist magazines.
During the last four years he has been working on Ebb & Flow, a new body of work based upon a walk along the Humber bank, which took place towards the end of 2015.
More recently he has had a solo show in Cumbria and is currently working on an exhibition for The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust featuring the changing seasons at Gibraltar Point.
