I am a landscape artist based in Birnam, Dunkeld. Originally from the southwest of Ireland, I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by the wild beauty of the Kerry countryside. Art was a constant presence in my life—my parents run a gallery and are themselves an artist and a framer. They taught me to paint from a very young age, nurturing a deep and lasting connection to art and nature.
Today, I live and work in Scotland, where the dramatic landscapes, shifting light, and rich natural textures continue to shape and inspire my work. I create oil paintings primarily of Scottish and Irish scenery, with a particular love for capturing the stunning countryside around Dunkeld. The Scottish vistas, much like the Irish landscapes of my childhood, fuel my creative process and enriches my appreciation for the natural world. I feel incredibly fortunate to have called two of the world’s most beautiful places home, each offering an endless source of inspiration.
